A Taxi driver cleared of a sexual attack on a teenage girl has said his life has been destroyed and he has lost virtually everything.

Abdul Islam wants his life to get back to normal after months of hell.

He was cleared by a jury at Swansea Crown Court on Friday.

Speaking after the verdict, the married father-of-one said: "My life has been destroyed by these totally untrue accusations.

"I have lost everything - my job, my car and I have had to put my house up for sale.

"The woman who made these false claims has the luxury of remaining anonymous, while my good name has been tarnished.

"I've had people abuse me in the street and rocks thrown at my house."
