TAXI DRIVER THREATENED WITH A KNIFE
A TAXI driver was threatened with a knife before being robbed and having his cab stolen in Woodville.
The driver picked up a man and a woman from Regent Street, Church Gresley at about 12.30am on Sunday.
After arriving at the High Street in Woodville, the man pulled out a knife and held it against the driver before punching him in the head and forcing him to get out.
The man is white, in his 20s, and was smartly dressed in a blue shirt. The female was wearing white and had shoulder length mousey hair. Both were about 5ft 6ins tall.
The driver was taking to hospital and treated for minor injuries. The vehicle was later recovered by police but cash had been stolen.
