Police in Newport News have arrested one of three suspects in a pair of taxi cab robberies that happened over the weekend.

We're told that on Monday at approximately 1:30 p.m., Newport News and Portsmouth detectives arrested a 17 year old male in Portsmouth in connection with the robbery of a cab driver on Delmar Lane in Newport News.

The teen suspect has been charged with robbery and placed in Juvenile Detention.

Newport News Robbery Detectives are still asking for assistance in identifying the other two males involved in the robbery.
