Appeal: Assault on Taxi Driver, Birstall

Police in Huddersfield are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a taxi driver in Birstall Town Centre on Sunday 5 August 2007.
At around 14:15 the taxi driver pulled onto Birstall Market Place with his window wound down and was approached by 3 men.
One of the men reached into the vehicle and punched the driver in the face. The men then made away.
The suspect who reached into the sliver coloured Toyota taxi is described as being white, around 16 years of age of medium build with blonde hair.
He was also wearing a white England shirt and blue tracksuit bottoms.
