Cabbie died two days before son's birthday
The mother of a Blackpool cabbie who collapsed and died at a music festival has paid tribute to her son.
John Derek Anstey, 26, of Overdale Grove, Blackpool, died just two days before his son, Benjamin's, second birthday today.
It is also the birthday of his mother, Isobel, who today described her son as a person who "lived life to the full".
She added: "John had a baby son, Benjamin, whom he adored.
"Sadly it is both mine and Benjamin's birthday today.
"He was a taxi driver in the Blackpool area and had lots of friends.
"The family are obviously all devastated, he has left a 14-year-old sister, Paige, grandparents Elsie and John Stuart, step-father Darren and friend Lee Donnelly.
"He will be sadly missed by us all."
John, who was a keen motorcyclist, collapsed at the Knowsley Hall festival on Saturday night, and was pronounced dead at Whiston Hospital, Merseyside.
A post-mortem examination has failed to establish the cause of his death but toxicology tests are to be carried out, police said.http://www.thisislancashire.co.uk/news/headlines/display.var.1496602.0.cabbie_died_two_days_before_sons_birthday.php
