Gang attack and rob taxi driver
| A taxi driver needed an operation on his hand after being threatened at knifepoint by a gang who stole £200.
Four people were involved in the robbery in Langley, Berkshire. Three men got into the taxi driver's vehicle when it responded to a call in Maplin Park and one of them threatened him with a knife before demanding cash. A fourth man opened the driver's door and tried to grab the car keys as the driver, 33, attempted to drive away. There was a struggle and he was hurt. The taxi driver, who was taken to Wexham Park Hospital and later released, also sustained serious cuts to his face, a police spokesman added. The offenders were white, one was in his 30s, of heavy muscular build and wore a leather jacket. The others were in their early to mid-20s, of slim build and wore tracksuits with hooded tops. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/berkshire/6407123.stm
