Police appeal after taxi attack

Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was assaulted by a passenger on Friday evening.
The cabbie picked up a man and woman from the Park South area of Swindon at around 7.30pm, but the male passenger became abusive and struck the driver to his head several times.
The taxi driver then pulled his blue Volkswagen Sharan up on Greenbridge Road and as the passengers got out of the car he was hit on the head again and the window of his cab was smashed.
